Champions Tennis
Stanford has joined with tennis legend Jim Courier and his company, InsideOut Sports and Entertainment, to sponsor champions tennis as part of the North American Outback Champions Series. The series features the world’s greatest tennis players over the age of 30 with tournaments played in Dallas, where Stanford is the title sponsor, as well as in Boston, Naples, FL, Newport, R.I. and Charlotte. In addition to its sponsorship of the Stanford Championships in Dallas, Stanford is the exclusive series-long rankings sponsor for the Outback Champions Series and, beginning in 2008, will award the year-end No.1 ranked player a $100,000 cash bonus.
This year’s series features Courier, John McEnroe, Mats Wilander and, among others, in his post-retirement debut in Boston, Pete Sampras. championseriestennis.com
